This class is built around the philosophy of Preston Palmer, owner of BROAVDO Weddings.  Using his intimate knowledge of wedding photography and the business around it, we will give you the tools to effectively communicate with your clients so you can get the shots you want, and also to give clients a high quality end product that will make them return again and again for your services.  The workshop is split into two portions, with one being indoors in a classroom environment and the second being outdoors, taking what you’ve learned and putting it into practice.

• How to effectively communicate with clients before, during and after a photo shoot
• Useful poses and how to read your clients properly to get the most out of them
• What to do after a successful photo shoot (post processing & digital workflow)

• The business of photography – How to value your time and price your services accordingly, tax strategies, writing professional contracts, insurance information, starting an LLC, and much more.
• What to do with albums (the types of images to use; efficient, artistic design; what companies to order from; and more.)
• A live model photo shoot to practice what you’ve learned!
